I live in Jakarta with my wife and our 5-month baby. Despite all the facilities that we have in this big city, we actually loves volunteering in rural area in some occasions. I myself used to be a volunteer teacher in a remote island for 1 year (with no electricity and signal, only white sanded beach and friendly people). Travelling as well as sharing with local people are the most exciting adventures for us.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard abour CS from a friend and found it so interesting. We would love to share our house and foods with our guest. Making friends and sharing stories and having tea time together sound cool too. Hoping one day we can also be welcome in your house. 😊

I studied biology for my bachelor degree. After working in NGO, I learned more about 3P, how People makes Profit with less harm to the Planet. It is a simple yet challenging task for me to apply this 3P values in our project in Papua (east part of Indonesia). I would be very happy to share my experience on how we empower the society to conserve the planet without confronting the palm oil companies.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have one house with 2 comfy bedrooms. We only use 1 room so another one is free. It is located near by the local train station so you can easily go travelling around jakarta.
