Overview
About Me
In a nutshell; I am a very tolerant and open minded person. I love nature, exspecially exploring it by myself or with friends.
My love to nature also was enhanced by my wilder nordic latvian side. Swimming in our own lake or feeding our Red Deer that we keep in large sections of our forest was alsways my highlight of the yeahr. Exploring the untouched wildernis as a child, awaked a feeling in me, not just any forgettable feeling, but true freedom. Till now, traveling to see the real sides of each country and explore each and every own ecosystem, gives me that wounderful feeling of being alive.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, Couchsurfing is a vehicle to freedom.
As I just finished school and now take the year off to travel, I really can't say I have a lot of money to support this plan.
Through Couchsurfing, though, I'm able to travel a lot cheaper and still don't miss on the wonderful experience to explore the world.
Even better, Couchsurfing gives me the opportunity to see not just the usual tourist-flooded locations, but see the real treasures each country offers.
For me, getting in touch with the natives, getting a glimpse of their culture, their way of life, is the most joyful part of traveling.
Thereby, I don't only get to have nice holidays and see the world, but really learn from it and fly home a smarter bird than the one who left the nest months ago. :)
Interests
For me, enjoying nature is one of the best gifts. I want to keep the biological cycle moving, for this reason I became a hunter just like my father and his father before. When I am out in the forest I help preserve nature as it is now, with all its diversity and beauty.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I was on vacation in Englad and had the chnace to go underground caving.
We climbed down slim pathways to get to an gigantic underground lake. We than could choose the easy or hard way, just 3 persons from 20 and me decided to choose the way where you had to dive down into the lake and come up on the other side the stone wall. The water was freezing cold but it was totaly worth it!
