Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've tried Couchsurfing with my Slovenian friend when we were travelling Mexico, Australia and China together so I have quite a bit of experience but now I will be travelling alone for some time and I want to use CS so I figured I needed my own account :D. Hostels are all fun and games but it happened to me before that I left a place without hanging out with a single local person and I think it's a shame because it is so much more fun to see a place from the eyes of a local, get to know the culture etc.
