Overview
About Me
I am a person with an open mind. I learn, evolve and build my world around me. I meet people and make friends. I travel, read, cook and love movies. While dentistry helps me pay the bills, traveling opens my mind to surreal life-changing experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Difficult to pick one-
Traveled 4000 km on a motorcycle touring the Himalayan Kingdom of Ladakh across 17 days. Rode the Royal Enfield on the world's highest motorable road. Most recent trip. Started as an introspective, soul searching effort. Came back a changed man.
Was part of a small canoe-type long boat in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Pondicherry amidst local fisherfolk on their morning trips into the sea... scary yet surreal experience. I dint speak tamil, nor did the fisherfolk speak any other language, yet managed to communicate and get on their daily trip into the ocean.
Headed a rescue and relief operation with a team of 5 other doctors (as an intern) at Nagapattinam during the 2004 Tsunami. Life changing experience.
Organised a healthcare awareness program in 2003 for children with special healthcare needs during the Special Olympics at Sri Kanteerava Stadium. Originally planned it for 1000 children over 3 days. Overwhelmed when it was attended by over 5000 children and I was awarded for my efforts by the Special Olympics committee. Humbling experience.
Rode the Royal Enfield on a solo trip across the Indian peninsular rim. Hyderabad - Chrnnai - Pondicherry - Rameshwaram - Dhaushkodi - Kanyakumari - Trivandrum - ans back. Riding through the lagoons of the ghost town of Dhaushkodi was surreal. Wading through one foot water and sand bars to land's end on the bullet to watch the sunset... incredible!
Took my mom on the 'Char-dham' circuit. Wanted to make her 2 decade wish to visit the pilgrimages of Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Uttarkashi, Rishikesh and Haridwar come true.
Trekking and Camping under the stars at Edakumeri - an abandoned british railway line that runs 22 km across 11 majestic bridges, 16 tunnels (longest of nearly a kilometre) and 4 waterfalls in the sakleshpur forest belt, South India.
