A part time backpack traveller, I am currently working in Nottingham after graduating as an aerospace engineer in July 2014. I'm new to couchsurfing and I intend to travel more from now on.

I have backpacked across Bhutan, Iran and the north east of India over the last two years. I have also travelled (not backpacked) across Germany, Sri Lanka and USA last year. I intend to backpack in Morocco and Turkey this year. :)

I'm an amateur photographer with a penchant for street and portrait photography. I enjoy discussing movies, philosophy and sports.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to host travellers and expose them to local cultures and places of interest.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacked for 15 days across Bhutan without any on ground plan. I heard of a festival in Bumthang, where monks dance naked across fire late at night. I took a 17 hour bus ride to witness the festival and experience the surreal dance.

I also hitchhiked across Iran on a 16 day trip!
