To bring the color, light and everything nice all in my pocket ;) ..and try and leave the world a better place than I found it.
"Always in search for new experiences" should be tattooed on my forehead - I am searching to connect with other adventurous souls - anyone up for a train ride to Tibet?
I am looking to discover other cultures and to understand other ways of life. I want to walk my path responsibly, and as lightly as possible. I want to immerse myself in cultures more ancient than my own. I am a feminist, a progressive thinker, and an artist with a love for writing poetry. I have a deep love for this planet, and all of the creatures I share it with.
On a basic level, I believe in trying everything at least once. I am trying to apply that to food! Crickets anyone?...I love to meet new people, as I consider myself a friendly person, and enjoy my life by being out exploring the HUGE and beautiful planet we reside in, EARTH! No place is too weird, too far, or too small for me to explore. There is more to me than can be summed up in words, and I am always open to share more.
I am happy when I get to connect with compatible souls, it makes it all worth while! A nomad at heart :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
After being Couchsurfing San Diego's city Ambassador for a little over 3 years, I finally decied to hit the road long term and became a technomad. I love organizing events, so whenever I'm in a new town I try to get together with the local cs crowd. Check out this interview about couchsurfing we did in the San Diego Reader. Also, check out my adventures Couchsurfing With the Double Rainbow Guy!

I do my best to bring people in, and show them what CS is REALLY all about. Connect, share, love. check out our website to learn more about my adventures!
I was first introduced to couchsurfing by my platonic *Amor* Carissa Peck who mentioned it to me while we were climbing ancient ruins together in Turkey summer of 07. Thanks Carissa! Since then I've become quite involved with my local community as well as other cities I frequent. I love it, I love it, I LOVE IT!
I am interested in Jungian theory as it relates to the Mandala...I am interested in Art Therapy as I plan to one day practice in the field....I am interested in travel, and in trying to understand what about it I find so irresistible...I'm interested in other cultures, other ways of life, expressions of culture through art, expressions of culture through music..
My love for the environment, and my recent history working in the Tourism industry lead me to pursue a new path in the sustainble tourism world while living in Thailand. I have since returned and am now working for a startup that is poised to shake up the world of politics with an amazing organizing platform available to the masses.
I am interested in eco tourism, organic farming, renewable energy and responsible travel. I am interested in helping amplify grassroots movements, and am pretty proud to be playing a role in bringing democracy to democracy. Ask me about the tools we're building to shake up the web.
I feel that humanity is going through an important shift right now. A spiritual evolution that not only will need more love in the world, but will need everyone to start living sustainably if we are to survive as a species. I believe we are at the end of an era, and a new tribe of people is going to appear to lead all of us to a replenished and renewed earth, a way of life that is harmonious and in balance with everything around us.
âÃâ¬ÃŽ"When the earth is ravaged and the animals are dying, a new tribe of people shall come unto the earth from many colors, classes, and creeds, and who by their actions and deeds shall make the earth green again. They will be known as the "Warriors of the Rainbow"- Hopi Prophecy
I am a burner and a lover of earth!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love ALL kinds of music, really. I know everyone says that but if you were to take a look at my iPod you would believe it!
Books - my favorite book of all time is Heart of Darkness by J. Conrad
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
hmm... I've hosted couchsurfers in Thailand at a treehouse resort, I've eaten crickets in Mexico... I rode an elephant once in Asia... I've been chased by a gang of monkeys in the city of Krishna's birth - they liked my sunglasses! ...and I snuck a camera phone in my cleavage into a sacred Hindi temple (I know tsk tsk) and got away with taking a picture!
