ABOUT ME

I want to see every country on Earth before I die. Two people have accomplished this feat so far.

Everyone's surprised when I tell them how old I am.

I love movies, and intend to make a few.

I play a bit of guitar -- and piano, which you can tell me to play again.

I like having conversations about movies, shenanigans and goings-on, the planet, space the infinite frontier, social and environmental justice, our corporate overlords, places you or I have been... over beer, over breakfast, over tea, over a bowl, over a bridge, etc...

And I appreciate silence just as much.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As of now, I participate by crashing on your couch! Maybe my roommates will be down to let a couch surfer come by one day.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed in Reykjavík, Iceland for a few days in winter end of '08. Rented a car with four other Couchsurfers and circumnavigated Iceland the first week of '09 -- one of the highlights of my life.

Movies, music (listening and playing), jus' chillin' yo, clubbing/edm/dubstep/raves, 420, politics, the Universe, aliens, the supernatural, the disappearing natural world, the likelihood of our impending doom vs. the compelling glimmer of hope that somehow humankind will get our shit together and become fucking awesome... and blueberries. Teach, Learn, Share

I make really good chicken-veggie-lentil soup. I know how to play a little bit of guitar and would be willing to teach the few songs I know, and more happy to learn from you. Dabble in electronic music creation as well.

Je parle un peu de français, mais j'ai oublié la majorité que j'ai appris. (Did that even make sense? Probably proves my point.) Basically I'd be the learner here, because I've forgotten so much.
