PHILOSOPHY

Being interested in Patti Smith at the moment, this quote is hers:

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed only in Germany (2 times) - very positive experiences!
I hosted one person when I wasn't at home, so I don't know if I would be a good host :)
I met several couch surf people on my trip to Turkey (in Belgrade, Sofia and Istanbul) which was very nice because it made me feel at home.

兴趣

Music.
Very interested in music. I like to play keyboard/hammond/piano in my band (hard rock cover band). I also like to play the piano and accompany singers. I'm a bit of a musical instruments - collector. When I have enough time, I try to compose music or write lyrics, but I'm just a beginner: it's hard! Besides this, I like to go to concerts.

Religion, philosophy, psychology.
A bit broad :-) I'm interested in how people think about life, the world, themselves. That's why I chose to study philosophy, religious studies / spiritual care. I would like to improve my understanding of myself and of the other people I meet.

Hobbies. I like to spend my free time on things as:
watching football, cycling, exporing new areas/neighbourhoods/cities/villages/roads/routes, kayaking, vegetable garden, cuddling with my cat, visiting family and friends, looking on maps, food, drinking beer, playing (card and board) games

All kinds of classical music (grieg, rachmaninov, skrjabin).

70ies, rock oriented music. deep purple, fleetwood mac, steely dan, santana, yes, emerson lake and palmer, led zeppelin, supertramp, patti smith, neil young, mahavishnu orchestra.

Metal and progressive: sepultura, gojira, exodus, trepalium, avatar, opeth.

I also like music with an electronic touch, like: jaga jazzist, moderat, ellen allien, max cooper, GusGus

Although I mostly listen to male rock singers, I try to embrace the sound of the female voice through artists like beyonce, aaliyah, erykah badu, lucy pearl

besides this, I like to listen to music with a particular local or (for me) exotic sound. norwegian spoken folk music (valkyrien allstars, odd nordstoga), ethiopian jazz, gnawa music.

walking/climbing in the mountains of Ethiopia to see a monastery, my first holiday alone in Germany, by bike, to see churches :)

it is hard to say what kind of knowledge i possess that others will benefit from knowing, because everyone has it's own habits and focus. I love to play music, so I guess that's what I can learn people.
