I think Couchsurfing is the best way of meeting new people and sharing experiences with them. It is also a good way to find cheap accomodaiton for travelling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 1993 , at the age of 24 ; - I had an alone trip to TURKMENISTAN and UZBEKISTAN. I had some friends there but at that time there were no enough communicaiton opportunities to find their addresses easily. My trip was just after the getting their freedom from Soviet Russia and there were no laws, no rules, no travelling opportunities and no borders so I did not get visa and travelled from Turkmenistan to uzbekistan without getting visa but I was arrested by the Uzbek police because of I did not have visa. I was deported from the country by train and I had a very excited 24 hours at the train. That was amazing

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live 100 km far from ISTANBUL. I can offer the guests a daily trip to Istanbul. In my city I have a summer house with a swimming pool by the sea and I might offer them a short break while travelling from ISTANBUL (Turkey) to EUROPE (especially to GRECE and BULGARIA destinations) by using E-5 / D 100 highway. I might also offer them FREE lunch, dinner, breakfast and a bed for relaxing.
