CURRENT MISSION

Currently I am a gitano, gypsy, in the sense of not living in one place. I would like to settle for some time at last, afters years on the move.

ABOUT ME

A little crazy but not enough to risk my life, a little adventurous and much more if birdwatching, a little sportive if only I am on a racing bike. Oh yes, I am an optics geek.

PHILOSOPHY

Even if you win a rat race, you are still a rat.
One good wave can make the day worthwile, and life is like big wave surfing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

You can use me for birding (Belgium and the Netherlands), race biking (Flanders) or just for information. I currently have no couch, but happy to help you with logistics etc.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I slept one night in Sicily. The host was a very nice guy and he even offered me and my girlfriend his bed, while he slept on the couch!
And I almost forgot. Me and my girlfriend hosted two of the most friendly couchsurfers for a night some time (months) ago. As we are both working, we did not really have the time to guide them around, but they liked it anyway. Their recommendation is on my girlfriend's page...

One thing about the verification: I don't have a credit card, because I don't like the system. Credit cards are one of the very bad in the list of worst inventions all time. They only make the banks rich. If I only could verify/pay in another way, would be cool.

Bird books. I don't read a lot lately, nor watch movies. I try to save up as much time as possible to go out in nature and travel around the globe.
Oh yes, the music. I listen to funk, house (deep), drum%bass, and some other weird stuff.

I have seen many beautiful landscapes and especially many interesting animals.
I like all living things, and I am always amazed by the diversity on this planet.

I can learn you how to build up a race bike or bike wheels from scratch.
I can learn you about birds and nature.
Last, I can explain everything about optics and bird photography.
(I guess nobody wants to learn dutch?)
