About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet people from anywhere and everywhere, improve my German

ABOUT ME

I prefer the term "spontaneous" to "poor planner."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a college student, I definitely understand the need for cheap accommodations. I'll offer that as well as tips for saving money if you're on a budget, and an insider's view of the town so you don't miss anything!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had coffee with a fellow couch-surfer and attended a couch-surfing event which was a vegetarian potluck. I'm still fairly new to the whole experience, but so far it seems like a great way of connecting people.

Interests

Anything outdoors, most any sport, but especially tennis, foreign languages, conversations over coffee or alcohol depending on the time of day, seeing the world from another culture's point of view, hearing your thoughts, books, movies

Music, Movies, and Books

V for Vendetta, Lord of the Rings, Underworld, and Office Space are a few of my favorites. I can watch anything really, just not those horrible dance movies which include the words "step," "kick," or "stomp" that they seem to make a new one of every year.

As for books, one of the best comedies you'll find is "A Confederacy of Dunces." I also appreciate Vonnegut's satire, the blunt honesty of "Catcher in the Rye," the existential thought in "Waiting for Godot," and I'm a sucker for the Harry Potter series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw the winning touchdown in the last few seconds of the 2008 Superbowl from the field when I was working security.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Greece, Italy

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, United States
