About Me

Photography has been my occupation for the past 3 years, helping me store great memories while also paving the road for others. A photo is what got me on the road in the first place but maybe we'll get to talk about that one day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The decision of coming into the Netherlands was based part on the quality of the study but even more so on the traveling opportunities that it offers. Little did I travel before but there's a lot ahead of me to look forward to.
For now I'd just like to see a bit of the Netherlands and it's surroundings but later I hope to turn the world into my pinball machine, throwing me around from place to place, in search for ever more enticing adventures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having arrived too late on the day when I landed in Utrecht, the reservation I had made at a local Hostel got canceled. It was my first time abroad by myself and barely could I hold in the trembling fears of anxiety and paranoia that were wrecking havoc in my mind.
The streets were filled with junkies, drunks and generally people that seemed like cut-outs from horror movies, image that I would learn to later associate with a normal weekend night, here in the city. I gathered my nerves while eating a somewhat nourishing burger and went into the nearest park with the plan of securing a bench for the night. While pretending to read, I would scout the surroundings fearfully for shadows of ill minded individuals, without realizing that it was indeed my overexcited brain who was projecting such phantasms upon the earth.. - all of a sudden a fight broke out. Shouts would echo in the night, led further by the wind blowing through the old trees guarding the bench which I had turned into my fortress.
