ABOUT ME

I started travel in my late 20's.
Like many Japanese people, I didn't have enough confidence to speak English but I was interested in communicating with foreign people. That was the reason why I started to travel. And now, I'm addicted to travel... Knowing cultures and people is quite interesting for me.
Generally, I work as graphic designer, and recently finished the course of teaching Japanese. I'm looking for working oportunities..

PHILOSOPHY

Einstein said "The important thing is 'not to stop questioning'" and I agree with that.

Interests

I like traveling, music, movies, I like to make something, to know something new for me, to learn culture, history and languages... a lot of things. In general, I like to know things which give me a new point of view. And I love eating and taking beers!

movies: some of Terry Gilliam's, David Lynch's, Stanley Kubrick's, Jim Jarmusch's, Wes Anderson's, Cohen bros', Peter Greenaway's, Julio Medem's, Jan Svankmajer's, Maya Deren's, Takeshi Kitano's, Juzo Itami's etc..
Recently I watched "Il Divo" "Entre les murs" "The age of stupid" "Milk" "Into the wild" "The band's visit" and I liked those.
I like the movies which depict the image between dream and reality. I like documentaries too.

music: many kind of music... especially good underground ones. 60's and 70's, dub, ethnic music, folk, classic, electronic music etc...
I like some well-known musicians as well, such as; The Velvet Underground, The Grateful Dead, The Flaming Lips, Radiohead, Yann Tiersen, Cat Power, Jose Gonzalez, Nouvelle Vague, Bonobo, Josh Wink, Ben Klock etc... I play techno (or minimal house) as DJ sometimes.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learning languages and learning the culture in the community where i live in are quite interesting.
I can teach Japanese language.
I can share some ideas about graphic/editorial design.
