About Me

Small town girl on an adventure to escape societies means of being successful and redefine it for herself *

Growing up in Beaver bank, Nova Scotia, I've always had a lust to travel. I moved to Ireland for one year on a working holiday in 2013, the beginning of my travels 😄. I can't sit still for long. After some time home in New Scotland I followed the 'east coast dream' and moved to Fort McMurray. Unfortunately I lost my place and job due to the 'beast' in May 2016. I wound up in Edmonton. While the big city has its perks, they're not for me at this time.

My boyfriend and I want re connect with nature and really learn about self sustainability. We are currently selling most of our possessions, to free ourselves from a mundane life and hope to secure a wwoofing placement to learn about organic farming. Travelling from Edmonton Alberta to somewhere around Vancouver, British Columbia with hopefully some wwoofing stints in between!
I have stayed with friends made along my travels and in hostels. I have never tried couch surfing but have always wanted to. It sounds like a great way to meet people and forge connections.
