ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm 19, just finished high school (or whatever, german educationsystem is complicated... Anyways:), I didn't feel like studiying immediately, so I decided to do, what all gap-year germans do: going to Australia. :D
I love using irony, though I almost never get it, if other people use it. (I'm lacking of this little monkey emojicon now)
And I am outgoing, uncomplicated and friendly (of course!!!), which is important as a traveller.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it gives you awsome opportunities to meet locals and kind of leave the tourist and lonely planet trac and see things you usually don't.

As well me and my friend Liz were couchsurfing in Amsterdam already (and it worked out super well) , but I didn't have a profile yet so I thought the time would be right, as I am just about to leave to Austrailia. :)

Interests

I love sports and nature and as a logical consequence: sports in the nature. If the weather is nice you find me skiing or snowboarding in winter and jogging and hiking in summer. This is possible as we live quite close to the mountains, that I love a lot.

Just as much as the mountains (or eaven a little bit more) I love the sea and also all the activities you can do there, like sailing, swimming and surfing. But the sea is so far away ...

Oh and obviously I am interested in travelling, especially with friends or my family, this is just the highest level of fun I can get and the thing I spend on all my money.

What I also appreciate a lot is nice food and cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I LOVE Harry Potter. The books, of course. The only good thing about the movies is Emma Watson.

And all kinds of Music, starting with Nina Simone going to Jack Johnson over the buena vista social club to deephouse and 3 doors down balads And hiphop.
Like really everything. Except for hard electro.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Me and my friend Liz hitch hiked to Amsterdam and back after our finals.
I quit church and told my grandmother.

Now it's two things but I can't decide which one took me more courage.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to share many laughters a chilled time and maybe a beer.
If there's snow, I can teach you skiing as I am a skiteacher.
