We are Rui and Teresa, a Portuguese couple that are traveling through South America during 2023 (Colombia, Mexico and Ecuador).

Teresa is 29, studied Communication and worked in digital marketing for a big book publisher and a music store, in Portugal. Rui is 30, studied Biology and worked for an environmental NGO, between many other things (nature guide in outdoor activities, surf instructor, lifeguard, etc.). Teresa also studied photography, which helped her improving her work, and Rui wrote some kids books, published in Portugal. He also studied illustration and worked in some urban art projects.

We both feel that our fields of education are not enough to define us. We always felt an urge for something else, something different and that made us decide to travel together during 2023.

Nature, art, books and people always moved us. Those were the main reasons that made us chose these three countries: the diversity and beauty of the landscapes, the good surf, the authors that we've read (multiple times!!) and the fact that we both can speak Spanish.

We make good a team and love to meet other people and cultures! We also love to cook :)
We speak Portuguese, English, Spanish and a bit of French.

Now we are in last months of our trip, and after doing some volunteering with workway, we want to enjoy a few days in Galápagos!

We are on Couchsurfing to meet locals and connect with other culture and ways of live. We love to talk and know more about everything. Both of us love to read and write about people stories and our trip has the aim of telling the story of the people we met.

We love some chill music like Ziggy Alberts, Jack Johnson, but also Tom Misch ans John Mayer and their incredible eletric guitars. Recently we love to dance with music by Parcels and L'Imperatrice. Sometimes we listen rock music by Graveyard or Colour Haze.

And of course we have to mention Portuguese, Brazilian and Spanic music like Mayra Andrade, Natalia La Fourcade, Silvia Perez Cruz, António Zambujo, Caetano Veloso, Chico Buarque, Rubel, Tom Jobim, Terno..

We make good a team. Together we have some skills that we'll be glad to share:
- Digital marketing;
- Photography and Illustration;
- Painting experience (indoors and outdoors)
- Working in farms with animal and nature (4 months and a half working with cows and making cheese, in Switzerland).

We always open to learn new skills too :)
