I'm a student from the US studying French with a minor in film. I'm currently studying abroad in Bordeaux to acquire a true command of the language. I am very very new to couchsurfing and judging from the descriptions I've read, it's better to have somewhat of a detailed description. I am rubbish at this kind of things but this is my attempt.
Initially I can be fairly quiet and shy (this passes quickly, I get over it), but I am very observant and intuitive. Despite being timid, I can have conversation about many things and would consider myself interesting to talk to. I have a good sense of humor and can appreciate when that is reciprocated. I am very respectful of personal space so I can guarantee that I will not be a burden to you or your home. If I am ever to host someone on CS, I would expect the same.
I come from an African American and Filipino background. I am proud of my heritage and how it has attributed to my overall identity. I have an interest in social justice, movies, rap/hip-hop music, languages, culture, travel, dogs, and overall improving my quality of life.
