This is a joined account of Teresa Velten and Laura Meßner, two roomates, who accepted couchsurfers in Berlin. We're moving to the States and won't be able to host for a year!

Moving to the states in less than a week. Here we come North Carolina & Vermont

ABOUT ME

We moved in together because we were all looking for a cosy place, where we live with hearty party-people to survive the extremly hard winter in Berlin ;)

Clara is studying some weird stuff, she's still contemplating how she should call it in English (probably something like "educational studies"). Laura and Teresa are doing North American Studies.
After the Abitur (yes, Laura Abituuuur!) we all went travelling for some time. Clara went to Argentina as a volunteer in a kindergarden, Teresa did the transsiberian railway through Russia and China and did work'n'travel in Australia, Laura travelled through Europe by train and moved to Florida for a high school year.

Clara just discovered her passion for knitting and needle work. She loves savoury breakfast, coffee, horse-back-riding, Khaled Hosseini, Elyas M'Barek, , political and ethical discussions and saving the World (she's really into Amnesty International and energy-saving light bulbs...;))

Laura loves Doritos with Cheese. Although she did not do much cooking so far, her pitas are world-famous. She likes literature, especially from the American Renaissance but also modern writers and is busy playing Lacrosse.
Laura will be studying at Middlebury College for two semesters and can't wait to go skiing ever day.

Teresa is the good soul of this apartement and most importantly the best cook we could've asked for. Don't be suprised when she starts questioning you about "your partner, sexlife and plan for the future" after 10 minutes. Apart from that, Teresa never really has a plan and still, everything's going the way she wants it to go.Teresa is moving to chapel Hill, NC to attend UNC. She's still looking for a place so hit her up if you have a room for her.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did couchsurfing in Russia, China and Australia. I met a lot of great, funny and interesting people and I really like this way of travelling, because you can meet so many different people and you can experience the REAL way of living in a foreign country.
