I like to have fun, immerse myself in other cultures and try new things. I lived in Sicily for 3 years and would love to live overseas, again, but not sure where just yet. I miss the quality of life that I experienced while abroad. I really enjoy making new friends and seeing new places. I plan on traveling more in the new year, Just need to figure out where I want to go first.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is meant to be spent with lovely people. I am an eternal optimist. I think everyone should stop and smell the roses more often. I take pleasure in the little things like hearing the crickets on a warm evening, the birds singing in the sunshine, a beautiful piece of music and all of the beauty that surrounds us. I'm looking for like minded new friends.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I met up with a Turkish gent who was passing through Sicily while I was living there. He contacted me through CS. I took him for espresso at a local bar and toured him around the island. We had a great time!

I flew from Sicily to New Jersey in the cockpit of a B52 bomber.
Climbed to the top of Mt. Etna while it was erupting
Took a boat ride down the River Berne in Switzerland.
I've done many other cool things. Too many to write about here.
