Hi! My name is Tereza. I was born and raised in Rotterdam, by my Czech parents. This year I graduated for my philosophy bachelor at the university of Amsterdam. In the summer I was dancing in the city-streets in an art project called Raev Rehearsal, a moving swarm of people dancing on techno beats. Since I didn't feel like doing a master right after my bachelor and since I also didn't feel like diving into the carreer-world yet, I decided to leave Rotterdam behind for now and go travel with my girlfriend (and partly alone as well). We shall start off in the north (Norway, Sweden, Denmark), after that we'll see where to go in the moment, and then we need to be in Lithuania the 20th of November for the wedding of my girlfriend's dad. After that we want to head south to survive the winter! :)

The reason why I chose to study philosophy is because of wonderment over stuff, anything?, and I did enjoy the study, but it's also a lot of reading (or writing) by yourself and then discussing the texts. So a lot of sitting behind a desk and self-study. I would prefer mixing theory and practice up. Last year, the Covid-year, I realised that I truly love playing football. I've done it since high school and if I don't do it for a long time I start to really miss it. Also when I'm sitting in a train and I see a footballfield through the window, I start feeling sparkly :). Then another more practical thing that I started enjoying a lot during corona-times is cooking. I really love food and cooking and I'm hyped to learn it better and better and to exchange recipes or something else cooking-related. Further, I love dancing and music and rave-parties where I can release all my energy. That's also why I joined the aforementioned rave-project. While this is very restricted during corona, I noticed how much I miss it and how essential it is.

I'm excited to meet different people and to experience their rythm and how they tackle life.

I could teach the languages I'm able to speak and provide insider-information about the Netherlands and Rotterdam/Amsterdam. I could share things I've learned during my philosophy study.
Furthermore, I know how to tie my shoelaces in a cool way, which means: soon, you could too.
