ABOUT ME

I am 30yo, from the Czech Republic.. currently living in Iceland. I am a freelance artist, solo traveler, dreamer, tattooer, easygoing person, adventurous, open minded, want to travel the world and meet new people.
I love art, craft, music, traveling, photography, film, I enjoy sports and good food!

I've been interested in art my whole life and I can't imagine life without creating. I am also fascinated by traditional craft...so whenever I travel to a different country I always try to learn about local art and craft. Recently, I visited Japan and was learning about indigo dyeing techniques and would love to apply for a long-term visa and learn more about this traditional Japanese craft.

I also can't imagine life without travelling, I discovered this passion randomly and since then I just can't stop...
I love the lifestyle when I work really hard for couple of months and save money and then go travel for couple of months and spend everything that I saved and then start all over again.

Film: I love good old western movies, Studio Ghibli movies, old Japanese movies from Akira Kurosawa, Wes Anderson, Coen brothers, Miloš Forman, Clint Eastwood..it's really hard to say what my favourite movies are...I love to go and see films at the film festival Karlovy Vary (which is my hometown) This year my favourite movie was Perfect Days by Wim Wenders

Music: Jimi Hendrix, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Olafur Arnalds, Eddie Vedder, Norah Jones, Ray Charles, The Smashing Pumpkins, Alt-J, Joji, Prince, Kikagaku Moyo, Witch, Richard Bona, Miles Davis, Massive Attack, Keith Jarrett, Polo & Pan....I also love classical music and film music from Joe Hisaishi, Ennio Morricone...oh so many! Can't write all of it...
Book authors: Murakami, Wilde, Vonnegut, Kundera..I've read a lot of books from Japanese writers and I enjoy their slightly depressing and dark mood.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I went on a pilgrimage around the Shikoku island in Japan and on this pilgrimage I walked 1200km and visited 88 buddhist temples. It was one of the best experiences of my life!
