I was born in Ontario, Canada, but was raised by my West Indian family (from Guyana).

I spent my high school years in montreal with my best friends were all 1st generation canadians, and I learned to love culture even more from my greek, italian, indian, pakistani, hispanic, and middle eastern friends.

I graduated from U of Richmond in VA and now live in Arlington, VA just outside Washington, DC.

I love to travel and learn more about the world through cross cultural exchange. I'm pretty laid back and I'll try anything once!

My travels in Latin America have led me to meet some pretty interesting people and stay in some pretty interesting places thanks to the kindness of strangers, from the slums of La Paz to a beach house in Tacna, Peru. I cannot express enough gratitude for all of the generosity I have received on my travels and hope I can pay it forward. I love introducing travelers to the beauty of DC, I'm always up to meet new people and explore DC with you.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Recently, I unknowingly ended up on a 9 hour volcano hike in the Philippines wearing nothing but flipflops and guided by a 62 year old local man who spoke little English. It was a mental and physical feat that I survived thanks to the kindness, patience and compassion of my new found friend :)
