Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hoi! I'm hoping to meet local people in countries where I'm traveling, as well as folks traveling to San Francisco. Locals have a great insights into cool places to visit and things to check out next.

Interests

Hiking, visiting new place, learning new facts. Trains, ghost stations, and things just outside our day-to-day lives. Card and board games: I always enjoy games of Settlers of Catan, Munchkin, or Carcassonne.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a wide range of music, currently listening to pop-punk bands such as Light Years and Bonfires. Also really like Ewert and the Two Dragons.

I tend to ignore movies, occasionally I see something, but it's been a long time since I've been in a theatre.

I love listening to audiobooks. Playing now: "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich". Reading on my Kindle: "Site Reliability Engineering" and "Working Effectively with Legacy Code".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent a month backpacking the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Sweden. Stayed up all night in Berlin. Oh, and having not died yet.
