ABOUT ME

i love to meet new people. i live in Portland OR with my wonderful boyfriend and full of attitude cat Boo Radley. I work full time as a nanny and will soon have my 200 hour yoga teacher certification. i love to travel. i love the outdoors. i smile a lot. any other questions please feel free to ask!!

this is the way i live my life. i love to travel and to meet new people and i believe that every person that we come into contact with has the opportunity to shape the type of person that we are, that we have the chance to learn from them if we are open enough for it. i try to live life to the most everyday and to learn from every experience that i find my self in.

I love to meet new people and hear about what they are into. I like to show people around Portland, take them to my favorite haunts, and on my adventures!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted a few people. I have never surfed myself but am currently looking to find a few hosts for January when I make it back down to Costa Rica!

Music, Movies, and Books

i like a large variety of music. and am always open to hearing new music. i am very passionate about music and it keeps me going on a day to day basis. movies? there are to many to list! but i especially like old movies and movies in spanish...it is a good way to practice my listening skills and most of them are so hot! as far as books...i read a lot. one day i hope to have a library in my house.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I work with kids so it is safe to say that I am amazed everyday and in so many different ways. It is such an incredible and humbling experience to see the world through their eyes. Most of the kids that I work with are around 3 years old and they really do say the funniest things as they are trying their best to navigate their way through this crazy world of ours!

3 years ago I went to Costa Rica for a class with my university. I met some of the most fantastic people there. We stayed with host families and worked with in the community of the small town we were staying in. After the class a friend and I traveled around the country for a bit. Everyone was so warm everywhere we went. We were offered rides and people were quick to give us directions. I am grateful for everyone that was so awesome and feel fortunate to have met the friends that I met there and still keep in touch with to this day!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love meeting people from different walks of life. Sometimes it is in the challenges of being different that we find our greatest opportunity for growth. I also love meeting people that have similar interests such as yoga and learning about what brought them to this path in their lives!
