ABOUT ME

I couldn`t live without my dictionaries since I`m a linguistic freak. I love to learn, I love to listen and of course I love to travel. I`m more an optimist than a pesimist. I enjoy being lost in a new city, I prefer to be in a place for a long time to see how people live there exactly. I`m quite addicted to sport and energetic acivities on the whole (running in the rain :). I like to compare traditions, customs and social foibles in different countries. Reading is something what I really do love. I like: the act of packing for a trip, art noveau architecture and painting (Alfons Mucha!), the smell of lillies of the valley, melons, avocados,Opener Festival, hidden places in my city, travel books, to walk for hours in a library in search for sth surprising, to keep herbal Nepal soap for years, white tea,Claude Monet, musicals, latin language,to play loudly on a drums...and so many different things.

PHILOSOPHY

Happines. Stick to your dream. When you are in a place, be there 100%. Each your thought has a big power. The aim is not the place itself, but the new perception of things.

Whoa! Too many to be listed...
Mainly travel books (Tony Wheeler, Eric Weiner, Bill Bryson). And I keep so many travelguides and dictionaries that I will probably write one someday... But as well thillers, psychological books, cooking books, art books...

Easier to list music that I don`t like: country, black metal, the rest is ok for me.

I won couples of medals in disco dancing.
I rode on a bike without brakes at a rainy night in Cambridge.
I slept two nights at the Luton airport.
I put huge pink flower garland on a first spring day on Vistula river.
I was dancing samba in French mountains.
I was enjoying gold croatian wine.
And so many different and crazy things in my life...
