ABOUT ME

I'm pretty laid back and open-minded. More interested when I encounter differences in people, though am somewhat boggled by things like bigotry and racism.

I'm a bookworm who has tried a lot of different hobbies, worked a ton of customer service, and now work as a freelance writer. I'm also terrible about talking about myself.

My Fiance is a native of New York, opinionated as one might expect but loves meeting new people and getting out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, like I said, I really enjoy meeting new people and the variety of experiences that can come with having someone completely new stop by. With Avalon (my Fiance's) skill in the kitchen and general hospitality, and my gregariousness, we can also provide a fun and safe place for people to stay while on their travels.

Also, it can be difficult for people to find a place to stay that counts as a safe place. Whether they're CIS, or somewhere on the LGBTQ spectrum, they'll find a warm and accepting stay-over waiting for them. That same warmth extends to everyone, we just like to meet new people!

Interests

Free time? What's that? When such a thing presents itself I'm an avid gamer, love to read, camping, especially at SCA events, is a great time. I love to spin and weave (though I haven't had time in years), have made soap and bath supplies, studied massage and aromatherapy (not professionally), can cook a mean dinner when inspired.

Basically: I'm interested in stuff I haven't learned to do yet. Except work on cars. I've just never had the knack, too many moving parts.
