ABOUT ME
New to the twin cities from the Bay Area (NorCal). Places I've lived/worked include: San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Palo Alto, San Diego, Hampton Bays, NY; San Antonio. I'm pretty nontraditional and feel blessed to have had so many different and rich experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm new to the area and looking for activity buddies. I like trying out new eateries, playing outside (biking, rollerskating, kayaking, hiking), live music, group fitness, cooking, road trips, community service. I'm usually down for new experiences and always love to learn. I really enjoy meeting new people and learning about their life journeys. I'm a good listener and many people tend to feel comfortable sharing their personal experiences with me.
Interests
So all of the above IS true, but I am also a second year medical student, so my availability is limited until I rock the Step 1 exam this summer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Changed the course of my life. Practiced sobriety for 7 years and attacked all my issues head on. Came out the other side stronger, fearless, confident, and most importantly content and joyful.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help beginners learn their way around the kitchen- have 9 years experience in food service.
I would like to learn how to play an instrument or some form of artistic expression. Open to low cost ideas for non artsy people.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook, clean, run errands. I enjoy busy work in small chunks.
I can also offer my company, which I've heard from many is priceless ;)
