HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted a few couchsurfers, mainly during the summer when I have more free time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was hoping to go to NY, so I joined CS with the intention of surfing someone's couch there. I never made the trip, but had a couple of requests, so I have been hosting since July 2011.

兴趣

I usually go for a run (8 - 10 km) on Sunday afternoons. You are welcome to join me. Alternatively, you could join one of the local jogging groups. It's a nice way to see some of the local area. For example, the Friday hash is here:

If you like blues music, there's a great Chicago Blues bar, called 'Bright Brown', about ten minutes walk from my place. They have a jam session on Thursday evenings, so you can bring your instrument and join in. This is their schedule in Japanese
