ABOUT ME
I'm a 29yr old proud Mexicana/Filipina. Cali born and bred; equally proud to represent San Diego (Chula Vista) and the Bay Area. I'm an educator in San Francisco, who teaches some of the greatest kids coming out of the city. I have a great passion for youth, community development, and education so that we have strong and powerful young ones to lead the future.

Beyond teaching, I'm a sincere girl who is open minded, the epitome of chill, and has a strong sense of self. I love the outdoors for hiking and quiet. I love cold beers on hot days, amongst friends who feed my soul through beautiful conversations. I'm a bit of a movie buff of a variety of genres. I have never met a food I wouldn't eat and have almost never met a food I hate (with the exception of nato. YUCK!). I read way to many comics during the academic year and then indulge in lengthy novels over the summer. I'd love to meet people so that they can make their own opinions about me :)

Creating/painting a San Francisco mural with youth from SF, Traveling anywhere alone as a woman, teaching and learning with indigenous students in Mindanao, Being the first in my family to graduate grad school, Everyday working with the youth and families of the Excelsior District.
