About Me
I own and live aboard my sailboat boat in Marina Del Rey. I work hard during the school year and live for my summer vacation. Maybe I'll come visit you this summer!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Why wouldn't I? And more importantly, why has it taken me so long to get on board?

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a big fan of historical fiction. My favorite author is probably T.C. Boyle.
This year's summer reading includes Adultery by Paulo Coelho, and Pacific Lady: The First Woman to Sail Solo across the World's Largest Ocean by Sharon Sites Adams.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sailed down the coast of California from SF to LA.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a former Peace Corps volunteer and live by the same motto today - learn from others, appreciate diversity, seek to understand cultures different from your own, and laugh. The universal language is laughter.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A unique experience staying on a sailboat in a surprisingly quiet part of otherwise busy LA. Also a stones throw from Venice and short bike ride to Santa Monica (I have three extra cruiser bikes for guests!)
Countries I’ve Visited
Argentina, Belize, Canada, Ecuador, El Salvador, Greece, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, Puerto Rico, Switzerland, Turkey
Countries I’ve Lived In
