ABOUT ME

I think the most important thing to know about me is that ever since I can remember I have had great difficulty writing "all about you"'s, but because I so adore this concept - I'll give it a go.

I attend the University of Arizona and school has always been a really big part of my life - too big I think. This is why I realized one day that I needed to figure out who I was away from where I have been. I spent the last five months living and traveling through Africa on my own eat (a lot), pray, love journey and I think I know less now than before I left, but in the best possible way.

I am (recently) outgoing, I love to learn, and I enjoy all sorts of sports. I am honest to a fault, clumsy to an art, and maybe a tad sarcastic, but I try to live my life with kindness and love at the root.

I am passionate about what I'm learning and eventually hope to go into epidemiology to study infectious diseases specifically - which is why my study abroad journey led me to Africa, which fortified my aims!

Books - Anna Karenina, though I couldn't stand the ending. Anything by Khaled Hosseini. Recently rekindled my passion for reading so I'm eager to see where it takes me and would love some great book recommendations on the side of this whole couchsurfing experience!

Movies - really difficult to disappoint me. I have liked movies from MegaSnake, yes it is at it sounds, to Forrest Gump or Star Wars, and all that lies in-between.

Crashed into the rocks of the Zambezi river below the Victoria Falls in Zambia as our raft flipped on the first rapid...and the next three.
