ABOUT ME

Hard as I try and as much as I'd like to, I cannot stay in one place. The desire for a home and comfort lies within me, but nonetheless my feet and open mind keep pulling me from one random place to another. Right now I'm enjoying my first winter of life in Juneau, Alaska. I can finally call Juneau home. Being my first winter in Juneau, I'd enjoy meeting new people around town.

Traveling will soon bring me down to the lower forty-eight for the holidays, back to beloved San Francisco and then crossing the equator for some backpacking in Peru.

Although a scientist, I hardly believe in absolutes.

兴趣

A siren of the sea: I study biology, like to scuba dive, rock climb, kayak, sail, spelunk, drink wine, tea and sometimes even cerveja, do yoga, listen to music, cook and be constantly busy with things that expand my mind.

Did my first night dive in Angra dos Reis, Rio state. We descended into the deep water darkness with two small flashlights to observe the nocturnal behaviors of aquatic animals as well as some of their natural luminescence.
