ABOUT ME

I'm a third year student at the University of McGill, in Montreal, Canada, but I am currently studying Arabic abroad in Amman, Jordan.
I have lived in the Negev Desert and in Paris during a gap year that I took after high school, and I love traveling and would love to see more of the world!
I also love languages, good music, food & cooking food, reading and meeting interesting people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed in Israel, Canada, and made some good CS friends in Paris through CS picnics, etc. I have also hosted in Montreal.

Books: anything Garcia Marquez, Faulkner, Hemingway, Mishima, Vonnegut... Marmon Silko's Ceremony is pretty cool too. Movies: anything Jim Jarmusch, Wes Anderson, or Woody Allen. Everything is Illuminated, The Triplets of Belleville, The City of God, Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain, La Haine, Pierrot le Fou, Waltz With Bashir. Music: YACHT, the blow, Alt-J, Yann Tiersen. Electro-pop and quiet nice stuff
