Writing poetry and making connections with anyone genuinely interested in the Arts of writing and Poetry
I love traveling, meeting new people, enjoying very simple things and experiencing most crazy adventures in life always with a great sense of humor and lots of laughters.
I am a dreamer that a better society is possible and meeting people from different or alike backgrounds, cultures, environment; sharing our experiences will help build a more comprehensive, understanding and caring global community.
I express my vision of life in Poetry which I also perform in various venues.
I save some time for yoga and meditation to keep calm in a much-agitated society and explore my imaginative world.
I've lived in many countries in my 20s, in France for many years and in England and South Africa when I was studying human rights law. In my late 20s I decided to settle down in Montreal - Canada, to start working with local communities and developing my artistic skills.
Love life. Life will love you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'd like to share experiences, learn from others, listen to stories, participate in exchanging views and idea, share a good dish!
I would be happy to give poetry performances if you're keen on organizing an event or just gathering friends; at least I can recommend poetry books.
I aim at creating a network of people interested in Poetry and the Arts, no matter the background: artists, philosophers, professors, readers, people with a sense of curiosity. Feel free to contact me to know more about my project.
I was hosted once in NYC for one night only, though it was a short experience we had great discussions about life and carreer-changes and I am thankful for the inspiration my host brought me. I am now getting involved with local CS and I find the platform very accessible and helpful to make good connections. I am ready to discover more :-)
Art and Humans: Those are the only two things we need to make this place an amazing place to be. And great food!
Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy all kinds of things and activities but I am truly passionate for the Arts. I am a thirty person when it comes to discovering new ways of making and displaying Arts forms. I regularly watch/participate to Performance Arts events and I enjoy going to Visual Arts exhibitions. I love reading, I wish the days and nights could be longer to have time to read and write more.
Some of my most favorites auhors include : Marguerite Duras, Virginia Woolf, Emile Kundera, Samuel Beckett, Antoine de Saint Exupéry, Christian Bobin, Nina Bouraoui.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most stunning decision and yet very natural was to move to Montreal - Canada - after many years of traveling around the world, settling down, and getting involved local as per my conviction to the saying ''Act local, think global''
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to participate to this network by exchanging views and ideas with people I'd meet.
I am starting a community project that aims at gathering a network of people that have a passion for the Arts of writing/reading and Poetry. Please contacvt me if interested, no matter your background (writers, poets, musicians, authors and interpreters, comedians, philosophers, professors, spiritual/yoga/meditation practitioners, etc)
