About Me
CURRENT MISSION
learn and teach and learn some more.
ABOUT ME
I'm pretty laid-back-- I am open to trying all sorts of things, from new foods to new sports to a brand new city. I love to meet and talk with people and learn about their ideas and cultures. I love a fun night out (especially if it includes live music and dancing!), but I also appreciate game nights and relaxing inside for a quiet change of pace. I love to be outdoors.
PHILOSOPHY
Onward and upward, for this too shall pass.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Stayed for a weekend in Paris in a beautiful flat in Montmartre.
A week in Mallorca with two different hosts -- thank you emergency CS group!
10 days through Scandinavia, three different hosts.
A weekend in Valencia, for las Fallas
and so on...
Couchsurfing has saved my at-times homeless butt (and almost-always empty wallet) more than once, and I love that this network of travelers helping travelers exists!
Interests
I play Ultimate frisbee and am always ready for a game. I love theater and music-- I act sometimes, but only sing in the shower. I love to read (currently: "The Snow Leopard"), and I like to cook with friends. I love to watch movies (anything but horror). One of my favorite things to do is explore-- by bike or on foot. In Spanish they call it "callejear", or "to wander." I've discovered many an amazing thing just by going for walks.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: old classics, cult movies, bad action flicks, animated, a romantic comedy or two for good measure.
Books: children's books, adventure, history, travel, fantasy.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to stand on your head, how to throw a Frisbee, how to fold a paper crane, curse in Spanish or sing an American lullaby.
I'd love to learn what you've got to teach.
