About Me

I do NOT host men right now. If you request me and you are a man I will decline automatically. It doesn't matter if you are in a relationship with a woman or have many female friends etc etc. If you can't respect this, you are one of the reasons I don't host men!!! I had this in another part of my profile but I kept getting requests from men so here it is at the top of my profile.

Also I do NOT use this site as a dating app. I am not here to go on dates - that’s what Tinder is for! If you try to make a move on me I will report you :( please don’t be weird! I've had people send me p*rn, message me incessantly, try to set me up with their friends...... I'm just here to meet cool people and travel and host travelers.

*Please read my entire profile before sending a request or I will decline. I will know if you haven't read it ;)

Now that that's all out of the way.........

I’ve traveled to 28 countries and 36 US states. I’m originally from Minneapolis and I've lived in Los Angeles for 4 years. I just moved to Madrid, Spain in October 2024!

I love sustainability, meeting new people and cultures, and social activism. I’m a lesbian and a vegetarian (not vegan, and you don't have to be to host or stay with me!), and I love to do paint by numbers, cook, play guitar and sing, and play pool (I’m not very good though lol). I’m a city girl through and through. I love piercings and tattoos and I have many :)

I worked as a professional matchmaker for a dating company for 3 years (yes, you can ask me about it!) before deciding to become a software engineer, because I love traveling and want to be able to work from wherever I am. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Religion, Gender, and Wellness, and I'm a musician and a certified postpartum birthworker as well!

Aprendo español والعربية :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting people! I've been using it for a several years now and I've met the most fantastic people worldwide. I have been lucky to stay in many people’s homes and meet a lot of really cool people at meetups. I've been a budget traveler for a long time and I support helping people when they need a hand. Everyone should be able to travel regardless of income!

If you wanna hang that’s cool, if you don’t that’s cool too :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love horror movies and anything Halloween! Reality TV and conspiracy documentaries are also my fav. But my number 1 favorite of all time is Grey’s Anatomy, which I’ve seen all the way through four times. Sex and the City is also a favorite! I have a cosmopolitan tattoo for Carrie Bradshaw haha

I’m a fan of indie rock (check out my band ‘girlfriend on the moon’), country music, and singer-songwriter. There’s not much music I don’t like though :)

I looove memoirs, and I try to prioritize books written by immigrants to the US, people of color, trans people, etc … basically anyone that doesn’t have my same lived experience. I love also reading books about and written by lesbians. I like political education books, both historical and modern-day, and feminist books are some of my favorite things to read. Jodi Picoult is one of my favorite authors, and I’ve read everything she’s written several times. I’m super active on Goodreads so ask to see my ‘bookshelves’!
