About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be happy and spread the love.
ABOUT ME
I love to juggle, although I am just a beginner. If I smell coffee, I'm there. I don't smoke and recently quit drinking.
My playfulness and curiosity of the world have taken me many places, on different journeys. The latest adventure took me from a 10 day Vipassana meditation course all the way to Sitka, AK where I have met the love of my life.
PHILOSOPHY
I love to be helpful. Right now I'm working on the balance of helping myself and helping others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I started couch surfing in Juneau, AK and jump started a great life within an awesome and lively community. Now I live in Sitka. I may be able to host, at the very least can meet up for coffee anytime!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The people I stayed with in Juneau were all very helpful, trusting, fun and helped me build a great network fast. Eventually I ended up living upstairs from someone who hosted me.
I certainly look forward to more CouchSurfing down the road!

Music, Movies, and Books
Always a changing list. Right now: The Books and Laura Viers music. I love children's stories. Triplets of Belleville is a great film. Oh, yes I'm a sucker for the Planet Earth series.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was in Thailand, I was invited to a monk's funeral. He had been very well known. People from all over Thailand were there, having traveled for days. We chanted and walked around a huge temple in ritual. A princess was there and a true shaman wearing a leopard skin with people at his heels constantly. I am honored that I was there and will probably never fully understand the significance of it all.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am an aspiring storyteller. Oral traditions are being lost, the experience of stories is almost unknown. Ask me to tell you one. The stories I tell are for enjoyment and teaching life's lessons.
If you are interested, I may be able to teach you some juggling tricks.
I also speak some Chinese and more French.
