Overview
About Me
I'm a Ph.D. in history of art in Montreal, Quebec since april 2015.
I love playing music, painting and writing about art in my spare times. I walk a lot, try to eat healthy... I also teach french as a second language to immigrants, which is a very exciting experience in a matter of meeting people, discovering different cultures, transmitting the language I speak and have a different perspective on it from my students.
Because I grew up in Germany, lived in France, worked in French Polynesia and now I study in Canada, I love travelling to meet people with a different way of thinking, discover different cultures, landscapes and come back home with new and refreshed ideas.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I haven't couchsurfed yet. That will be the very first time for my girlfriend and me. I can't wait to live this experience because I love to meet people from different places and have fun sharing things with them. I'll move to my own place soon then I'll be able to welcome people myself.
Interests
I'm playing the guitar, composing for almost 20 years now. When I have time I love to paint but I put all my time and energy on analyzing contemporary art now through readings and writings. I write article and have the project to publish my thesis. I love to meet people. Especially during my trips. I plan to record an EP next year (2015-2016). All the songs are written, arrangements almost completely done. Can't wait to start pre-prod.
