"Don’t ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” ~Harold Whitman~

I'm self employed in entertainment, marketing and events (mostly marathons). I've been fortunate to travel all over the U.S. for work. Lived in New York, Canada, Florida, Georgia and Texas. Along the way, I've picked up a Canadian accent, a love of Indian food, and don't pass up any chance to visit the beach

visited 34 states (68%)Create your own visited map of The United States or website vertaling duits?

"The essence of discovery is not in seeing new landscapes, but in having new eyes"—Proust"Progress always involves risks. You can’t steal second base and keep your foot on first base.” - Frederick B. Wilcoxbr />"Do one thing every day that scares you." -Eleanor Roosevelt

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've surfed with folks in NYC, Georgia, Texas, South Carolina, and New Mexico. Hosted a bunch in Dallas, TX and Savannah, GA.

I'm new to "Couchsurfing"...the website. Although, I've been unofficially couchsurfing for years!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming in the waterfalls at El Yunique in Puerto Rico!

Car dying while visiting the atomic bomb crater in Florence, SC (not making this up!)

Teach, Learn, Share

Useless, geeky knowledge I have: Knowing U.S. Copyright laws backwards and forwards; memorized almost all of Les Miserables and Rocky Horror Picture show, and random classical music trivia

I can cook great curry!

I'd also really like to learn Spanish, and would like to practice it more.

Bonaventure Cemetery is one of my favorite places to visit in Savannah, for its beauty, art, and stories. I'm always willing to go there and find something new with surfers!
