To finally check off the many boxes of my life's To-Do list and learn more about myself and the world around me. Insatiably curious and always wanting to understand the why behind everything. It took forever, but now I finally have enough vacation time and savings to start traveling abroad and am excited to be doing this on my birthday!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm completely new to couchsurfing, although I've crashed with friends and vice versa for as long as I can remember. It's a great way to experience new cultures, cities and countries and I can't wait to be a part of it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I grew up on '70s and '80s classic rock and pop, and have fond memories of the '90s as well. My folks got me into the Beatles at a very young age, and I never tire of listening to Fleetwood Mac, the Eagles, Blondie, Talking Heads and tons more bands and solo artists.

Love watching comedies, action films, foreign and independent films and suspense thrillers.. as well as whatever I come across on Netflix or Amazon.

More of a non-fiction book guy, especially biographies, anything about ancient Rome, psychology and self-improvement and even cookbooks.
