About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Have as many adventures as possible now, so I have great stories to tell my grandchildren later.
ABOUT ME
Hi! I'm Tracie. Friends would say I'm cheerful, optimistic, and friendly by nature. Spending time with people & animals are my favorite things to do (preferably outdoors)! I went to university in Washington State, studied Sociology (because I find people so fascinating & enjoyable!), and have been working in the nonprofit sector since finishing undergrad. I enjoy meeting new people, exploring new places, walking, biking, swimming, playing sports, dancing, cooking, eating, and trying new things. I don't always have a place for you to stay, but I might have connections, so feel free to contact me.
PHILOSOPHY
Don't let fear win.

Interests
Getting to know the people around me. Building community through shared meals and conversation. Volunteering with all kinds of organizations. Spending time outside-- hiking, riding bikes, going on long walks, playing sports, gardening, caring for animals. Reading anything anybody recommends. Spending time near the ocean. Learning about new cultures through travels & conversation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
First of my siblings to graduate from University.
Snorkeled in the cenotes of the Yucatan.
Bought a ticket to Europe on a whim...so I signed up for CS!
Teach, Learn, Share
I've found that Gandhi's advice to "be the change you wish to see in the world" is timelessly relevant. To be taken at your word, you must live by it. Exemplify the qualities you hope to see in others.
