I am a very active chick from the Kootenays, I love cycling (when there is no snow), skiing, the lake in the summer, BBQing and entertaining, fashion, arts and design, I am also a nerd...I'm a systems analyst, who took out the last 10 years to care for my mum and now returning to Calgary to get my salary back lol!

I'm pretty easy going, love most all styles of music, concerts, love meeting new people and hearing travelling stories, I lived in England for 5 years working in IT, came back in 2009, and got called back to Europe for another contract in Paris. I love the culinary arts, food, travel and hope to return to Europe next year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am waiting to move into my new place in the next few days, and trying to stay on budget until then. I've been away for 10 years and soooo much has changed, but I love it, especially the new library! Looking to hook up to find out more about what has changed here!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I grew up in a small town, with my mom and sister, and when I moved to the city, some guy told me I would never get anywhere without a university degree. So I proved him wrong, and tripled his salary. Then moved to England and it just went from there, from Nelson to London! All by myself.
