ABOUT ME

I'm a young teacher who practises drama twice a week. I'm a very open-minded guy, helpful and I really love to share knowledges and good moments. As I know very well my region, I'd love to drive somebody to discover it! I'm fluent in English, quite fluent in Spanish and know a few words of Italian and Dutch.

PHILOSOPHY

Very open-minded to any religion, ethnicity, nationality or whatever... My wish is that someone feels comfy and at ease in my own flat.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can welcome travellers in my flat near Valenciennes. I'm 15 minutes away walking from the train station and 20 minutes from downtown. Valenciennes is a welcoming city with 400,000 inhabitants, located 45 km from Lille, 120 km from Brussels, 200 km from Paris and 300 km from Aachen and Amsterdam. I'd love to become a touristic guide for foreigners!!

Drama: I belong to a drama company and play several times a year in my city. I also do improvisation matches.

I quite like reading, I read several books a year, mainly during summer holidays.

I also love video games, speaking foreign languages, and cooking! I'd love to cook for my hosts!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love rock music but might also listen to classical, pop, gothic music or even electro and new wave.

I don't watch a lot of movies, but I prefer comedy.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

When I was 2 years old, as I was on holidays with my parents, I went away and had a walk in the vineyards! They found me 45 mniutes later while I was eating vineyard peaches, and I was not scared at all (contrary to them!!!)

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I'd love to teach a few words of French and maybe learn some words in another language. As I like cooking, you might taste some French dishes that we could even prepare together :)

Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann

I love cooking for friends even if my dishes are quite easy, and I'd love to allow someone to visit my region as we are quite close to the sea, the cities of Lille and Brussels and the countryside. I might teach you a bit of French if you are a foreigner and show you the beauty of North of France as I know the region very well.
