I am a teacher who likes to travel. I appreciate the opportunity to learn from new people, and see new and amazing places.

PHILOSOPHY

Smiling is the easiest way to make other people smile. It's weird, really, but can be quite effective.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used couchsurfing when I was a student in Germany--and of course the entire thing is brilliant. You get to meet some quite memorable individuals that you would never encounter otherwise. And of course it can also enable you to go more places than might normally be possible.

Interests

Guitar, music, movies and food sound pretty good to start with. I also love to travel of course, and try strange new things when I'm there (and feeling adventurous).

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to read about psychology and watch documentaries like Cosmos or the Ascent of Man. I always feel like I should pay attention to those types of things. I like to listen to all sorts of music!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled across the USA in a 1970 F-100 all summer long.
