I am a dude who loves life and people! I like to read and play computer games, and I am a nerd for movie lines. I also love the outdoors, e.g. hiking, running, climbing, and camping. I am kind of an oldies guy when it comes to music, but I do love when people can show me something new that I enjoy!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had heard of couchsurfing.com before, but never really joined until I recently took a job that will have me travelling a lot. I'm hoping that it will help me save some money and at the same time meet some cool new friends!

Interests

I love a good book, movie, video game, or record. Also running or just walking are great ways to stay in shape and enjoy the weather. I like good beer, red wine, or whiskey and good conversation. Mostly, though, I simply enjoy spending time with people that I like.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Jim Croce, Ray Charles, Sam Cooke, and Creedence Clearwater Revival. My favorite contemporary fiction is probably John Irving, but lately I've been reading history mainly. Anchorman, The Naked Gun movies, and Almost Heroes are three of my favorite comedies, but I'm a sucker for any good movie.
