Hi, yes I am a wandering remote worker looking to broaden my perspective of the world and cultures. I lived abroad in Asia for 4 years and after getting back home to NYC I missed traveling so much, I might have the travel bug. My friends say I'm a happy go lucky person and that I have a young soul. When traveling I love to find those low-key places in the city to have a conversation, to read a book or get some work done. I grew up in Texas and spent 9 years in NYC. I'm pretty much a city boy with southern hospitality sense. An introverted-extrovert – I can talk for hours and can also be on my own for days, so in terms of sharing spaces I'm very adaptable. I've hosted many friends in Vietnam, so I can appreciate the effort and the rewards of communal traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm about to embark on a trip to Asia and take the "long road home" via Europe, which I have never seen before and am so excited about this. I tend to like getting lost in the city and rest at coffee shops. I love all good music as well, so that always attracts my attention. My first thought was to travel solo and figure things out as I go. I have done this for my last 5-7 trips. I like the freedom to roam, but at times it can get a bit lonely, also I feel there are many places I can only discover if a friend sends me recommendation. I often prefer to have company to chat with or share my experiences for deeper perspective on local culture. I've never tried couch surfing before but many of my friends have stayed with me in Asia while they travel.

Interests

I'm a user interface and experience designer. I also am aspiring ambient and electronica producer. All things that relate to these I find so interesting. I know thats pretty broad, but tis true!
