I'm a teacher and have amazing vacation time that I'm trying to make good use of. I wish my husband could come with me all the time but he’s a busy doctor so I find myself floating around a lot by myself. I love traveling the world but honestly I base a lot of my destinations on scuba diving. Huge fan of just winging it and seeing what happens but this may be because I'm a terrible planner.

As a teacher, I'm usually traveling on a budget and couchsurfing has been a great way for me to meet locals, see places authentically, and not break the bank. I've never hosted but would like the opportunity as a way to pay it forward.

Love fantasy novels, more along the lines of Neil Gaiman than Twilight. Music I like tend to like more female voices in an indie, electronic style. Not a huge fan of TV or movies to be honest.

I'm a teacher, I can probably teach you anything I know. I love learning new words in a different language. Sharing a drink and a laugh is obviously easy and fun.
