ABOUT ME

I believe I am open and very curious. I love talking, but I like even better to listen and learn about new cultures, places, people and their stories. Boredom terrifies me. I love going out to dance and I could chat over a beer for hours. I am also very active and dynamic, and I try to lead an intense but simple life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to this whole CS experience, but I am already enjoying it. I am going on a trip now, that will involve Germany, Poland, Mexico, the US... a bunch of places. And I am really hopeful that the CSers will be a lot of help in this!

Music: Beatles, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, The Doors and lots, lots, lots of Brazilian music (Caetano Veloso, Tom Zé, Mutantes, Novos Baianos) - especially regional/traditional carnaval music from my state Pernambuco.

Movies: "Into the wild" and pretty much anything by Almodovar, Woody Allen and Tim Burton.

Currently reading "To kill a mocking bird" and "The Diary of Anne Frank" - the last one in German, in a desperate attempt to learn this schwierig schwierig language.

Macchu Pichu. The sight is simply impossible to translate in words or pictures.

Carnival in my city - Recife, Brazil. Every year is better than the last one. It never gets old.

I would love to teach you a little bit of Portuguese, as well as Brazilian dances, such as samba, forró and frevo.
I would love to learn a bit of your language (whichever it is!) and local dances!
And... share? A big bottle of beer. A large bar of chocolate. And coffee - lots of dark strong coffee!
