ABOUT ME

Hello! I am currently teaching English in Maceió, Alagoas, Brazil as a Fulbright fellow. I recently graduated from college in the United States.

I am a musician (percussionist to be exact), enjoy salsa dancing and all Latino music in general, hip hop, all types of Brazilian music, women´s issues, international affairs, learning about different cultures and customs.

Olá! Estou fazendo parte do programa Fulbright como profesora de inglês em Maceió, Alagoas. Sou formada da faculdade nos Estados Unidos.

Sou músico (percusionista), gosto de salsa e música Latina em geral, também do hip hop e música brasileira, relações internacionais, debatir a questão da mulher no mundo atual, e aprender/experienciar sobre culturas e costumes variadas.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed, and I host in Maceió whenever I can. I enjoy receiving surfers in Maceió because they help me get out and explore new beaches.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to my first CS meeting last night! It's a great way to meet new people in a new city. I don't know why I didn't try it earlier!

I´m currently reading Isabel Allende´s ´´La Isla bajo el Mar´´ and Amartya Sen´s ´´Development as Freedom.´´ I can´t read just one book at a time-- so many good ones out there!

Just got some new Janelle Monae, Kid Cudi, Jay-Z and Beyonce tracks. Add Jau Peri to that.
