About Me
Hi I’m Thalia! I’m currently solo travelling and love to meet new people so don’t hesitate to send me a message!! :)
*Not interested in dating approaches sorry!*
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The world is full of uncertainty and possibility. Of seemingly endless experiences, I am currently on an open-end journey around the world seeing where my travels take me and what opportunities present themselves.
I like to take an open approach to everything and it’s my goal during my travels to learn new things, make new connections, and build on my skills by immersing myself in new cultures and experiences. I adapt easily and have no demands except good company.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading! Most significant would be the Tao Te Ching, which really impacted me in ways I can’t explain. I also love a good thriller too like the Hannibal Lecter series.
I am open to all music & the occasional movie - saltburn, parasite, split 😁
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Since I started my solo travelling there’s been far too many amazing experiences to pinpoint just one. I think to give a vague answer it would probably be the meeting of all the beautiful and unique people there are in the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have worked as a dive and snorkel guide/cruise director on a liveaboard, as an animator on a cruise ship, au pair in italy, and so on…. For my travels I have gone to the jungles of Malaysian Borneo, hitchhiked across Morocco, lost a part of my heart in India and Nepal, & of course went backpacking the infamous banana pancake trail of SEA. I’m always open to share my stories from these experiences.
I can give you some insights on what I learned about Sivananda yoga or we can talk philosophy.
I’m a scuba diver and freediver, I did a year working in the industry, and have been diving since a child, so if you are interested in this field I can give you tips and maybe we can go on a dive/snorkel together.
As for languages I can teach you some English, Indonesian, and I can try to share some of my not-so-grammatically correct German.
